Fausto Puglisi

  До сега не си бях представяла, че ще разгледам някоя колекция, ще видя някоя дреха и няма да мога да кажа почти нищо за нея освен "Уау, харесва ми",  да съм толкова впечатлена, че да не смея да коментирам. Тъй като ще се чувствам твърде безсилна да кажа нещо за  таланта и способностите на някого, когото дори не познавам. Е, странно, но се случи . 
 Нека ви кажа нещо за него, той има 
 "модна къща изградена от еротика и енергия",
"стилът му е  с основата на максимализъм с минималистична студенина, или казано по друг начин, минималист с максимална изтънченост" (Извинявам се предварително, ако не съм била напълно точна в превода). Така той описва себе си и стила си. Аз лично не бях чувала името му до преди броени часове, но бях толкова засрамена, че до сега съм отминавала таланта съм с лека ръка, че се почувствах длъжна да се поразровя и да разбера повече неща за него.

 Той е италиански дизайнер, роден в Сицилия, но започва кариерата си в САЩ, шуми се около него от 2012 година насам и набира все повече слава. Не искам да казвам повече нито за личноста му, стила, работата, живота,  не се чувствам достатъчно комепетентна, а и изпитвам твърде голямо уважение към него, за да си позволя дори дума повече. За това искам само да ви покажа колекцията му за идващата пролет 2014, представена в родината му Италия.




Until now I haven't imagined to see a collection or a single item of clothing and not to have another comment for it than "Wow, I like it". Well, today it happened. I was so impressed with the work of a designer that I felt I unable to  express my criticism for someone who has created something so stunning. 

He has " a fashion house made of eroticism and energy " His  "style credo is maximalist with minimalist dryness, or rather, minimalist with a maximal tingle"
This sophisticated expression describes his unique style. I don't know for you, but I have never heard his name until a couple of hours ago when I saw amazed by his collection for this season. I felt in love with all his ideas and the concept of minimalism, rock and roll and glitzy design and all that in one model. I will tell you his name after all, I am talking for

I felt so ashamed that I  knew nothing for genius and creativity, that I felt obligated to search information about him. He is born in Sicily, but started his early career in the USA. Fausto is becoming famous in the last  few years. No.. I should stop here, I have no right to comment on his work, life, collections, I am no one compered to him. I won't say anything more, just take a look at his exuberant ideas.

- За какво си толкова замислена? Тук ли си ? 

- За нищо, бях се отнесла за секунда . 

Това беше само началото на разговор с една приятелка и клишираните отговори, които давах, за да  се измъкна от неловката ситуация, но нека си задам въпросите отново, но този път ще отговоря искрено. 

- Как си? 

- Ужасно, иска ми се в момента да бях в Лондон на Седмицата на модата, а не  да ходя на училище и да се наслаждавам на трупащите се задължения. 

- За какво си толкова замислена? Тук ли си ?

- За колекцията на "Moschino", "Prada" и "Dolce&Gabana", иска ми се да не бях. :)

След кратно разглеждане на пролетната колекция вече бях отнесена от мечти, как седя най-отпред на ревютата и се наслаждавам, изумявам, критикувам и се вълнувам от новите тенденции с молив в едната ръка и лист хартия в другата, за да скицирам всеки интересен детайл. Мислех да изчакам със статиите за пролетните колекции, защото още дори зимата не е започнала, но не успях да се сдържа да не споделя с вас тези снимки, които най-много ме впечатлиха. 

Нека започнем от "Moschino", първите два модела ме грабнаха до толкова, че се чудех възможно ли е да са оставили нещо по-гениално и за финал?

- Not very well,  I would feel better if I could be in London at the moment in the fashion week, instead of going to school and look at all these idiots every single day.
 - What are you thinking about? Are you here? 

- About the collections of "Moschino", "Prada", "Dolce&Gabana", "Oscar de la Renta" and all other designers. 

 When I saw their collections I was daydreaming, I was sitting in the front line of the fashion shows with a pencil and shits of papper in  my hands to sketch every detial. 

Let's start with the review of "Moschino". After the first two models I didn't know what to expext next, I wondered what would be the end with this brilliant begging. 

                 

Само забележете, три цвята, но така използвани, че изглежда перфектно и дори и едно по-обемно бижу, би развалило всичко. 

Only notice that there are not more than threee colours used but this is enough to look like a queen. If there was only one bigger necklace, everything would be ruinned, but this way it is perfect. 

Чудя се има ли нещо по-шокиращо и провокативно и същевременно класическо и стилно? 

Продължаваме с колекцията им, в която вече си проправят път и по-ежедневни модели. 

I wonder is there anything more provocative and in the same way classy and stylish? 

We move on with more urbane style clothes. 

Както винаги този сезон  ще е отново силно застъпен от традиционните цветове- червено, бяло и черно. Въпреки че звучи скучно и недостатъчно провокативно, не мисля, че това ще е проблем, защото винаги можем да си придадем тази визия с различни модели, райета и декорации. 

Like always these season the traditional colours- red, black and white will be frequently seen. For some people these is not enough to have a provocative and chic outlook, but in opinion this image could be done with different patterns of clothes, decorations, stripes and so on.. not with  mixing together a lot of colours.

Още малко креативност и с последния модел "Мoschino" ни оставя замислени, но поне е  с усмивка.

Nothing great was done without passion // Нищо велико не е направено без страст

    Намирам се на обичайната автобусна спирка,  сутринта в 6,45, едно неприемливо рано време да съм будна, но се налага. Замръзвайки от студ се чудя как да стопля премръзналите си пръсти. Тъкмо започвам да обмислям, дали има възможност да се обездвижат до толкова, че изобщо никога повече да не помръднат. Точно тогава, в този момент на 16 Януари, видях две момиченца на около 8-годишна възраст да се приближават към мен с къси, бели плетени рокли до средата на бедрото, тънки якета, които трудно покриваха кръстовете им.

Приближиха се до мен и нямаше как да не дочуя разговора им, едната споделяше на другата, че тази рокля си я купила тайно от майка си, защото знаела, че няма да oдобри покупката. За това, тя спестявала всеки ден от по шепа стотинки от закуски, за да може да си я позволи. След това извади от малката си чантичка сгъната на четири снимка от списание, която показа на другото момиче с думите" Виж тази рокля, обичам всичко в нея, но някой ден аз ще измисля някоя толкова хубава, че ще измести дори и нея". След това сгъна отново снимката и я прибра на отреденото й вече място, като я погледна с надежда и докосна съвсем леко хартията. Сякаш се свързваше с нея по някакъв телепатичен начин и я погледна за последно като устните й леко потръпнаха каза й нещо, което само тя можеше да разбере, но въпреки това се усещаше страстта, с която го правеше. 
  Разказваше това  на приятелката си с усмивка на лицето и няколко сълзи, които лесно успяваше да прикрие с трапчинките, които се появяваха на лицето й всеки път щом заговореше, чаровната й усмивка, в която всички впиваха поглед още щом отвореше уста, не оставаха незабелязани. Всички хора на спирката слушаха в захлас историята й, някой с удивление от амбициите на едно малко момиче, от това което иска и стъпка по стъпка се приближава към целта си, други с недоумение от случващото се, трети се възмущаваха как е могла да направи нещо такова без знанието на майка си. А аз, стоях там, сгушена в шала си и виждах себе си. 

It's 6.45 am and I am waiting at the bus station where I'm every morning, it's winter, everything is frozing, it's so cold that I can hardly move my fingers. In the moment that I was paralysed with horror, I noticed two girls at the age of 8 crossing by the street. One of them was dressed with a  knitted white dress with lenght to her thigh and a short coat. 

When they came by, there was no way not to hear their conversation. The one, with the coat, confessed to the other one that she bought that dress wihout the аppoval of her mother, because she knew she wouldn't accept it. So, every day she didn't have lunch at school for months to save up enough money. The girl sayed  that with tears on her eyes but nobody couln't pay attention to them. Everyone was so amazed by her magnificent smile and the passionate way she was talking, that her sadness was lost in her deep dimples. 

After that she opened her bag and brought out a page from  fashion magazine with a model with a dresse on i that looked like hers. She looked at it and sayed to her friend" I love that drees, everything in it, but one day I will design even a better one". Than, she put it back in the bag and I could see her lips moving, she sayed something to that piece of parrer that was illegible for me, but I could feel the lurid passion she was talking with. That was enough, for her that piece of papper has changed her life. When I looked around me, I saw elderly people staring at her, some with astonishment, others with worry for her health. But I could see myself. 

Щастието е изпечено вкъщи // Happiness is homemade

   Вчера майка ми имаше имен ден, за това реших, че няма по-хубава изненада от една торта с маскарпоне и шоколад. В началото бях решила стриктно да спазвам рецептата, защото рядко го правя, но и този път не изневерих на себе си и не успях да я направя торта без да я променя и да добавя поне нещо от себе си. Не мисля, че се интересувате от рецептата, но ако някой от вас, случайно е заинтересован, може да ми пише, с удоволствие, ще я дам :) 

Yesterday my mum had a "name" day, so I decided to make her a cake, because what  a better surprise her than a mascorpone filling  with chocolate? In the begginig I wanted to follow stricly the recipe because I have never done it. But after 10 minutes I realized I have changed almost everything, but never mind, it was delicious any way. If someone is interested in the original or mine recipe can message me, I will be glad to share it :)

След една хапка от нея, стигнах до извода, че щастието е изпечено и залято с шоколад вкъщи, на старата, изгоряла фурна, но изпълнена със спомени и мирис от детството .

 My top 5 : Best fashion movies of all times 

1. "Дяволът носи Прада" (2006) -  
 Сюжет: Действието се развива в Ню Йорк и Париж, списание Runaway, където "Дяволът" (Мерил Стрийп) си търси асистентка и неочаквано назначава Анди (Ан Хатауей), която няма усет към модата, не е наясно с етиката и модните тенденции. Малко по малко тя "влиза в час", според приятелите й, тя се е променила коренно, загубила е личността си и началните си цели и мечти. Идва момент, когато трябва да избере какво иска да работи и каква иска да бъде. 

 Лично мнение, впечатление и коментар: За мен това е един от най-вдъхновяващите филми, защото ми помогна да надникна в модния бизнес, да се запозная с всичките изисквания и очаквания на критици, дизайнери, редактори. Разбира се и многобройните дизайнерски дрехи, обувки, аксесоари,  ме оставиха да гледам с отворена уста. 

 1. "The Devil wears Prada" 
Synopsis: 

 This thinly-veiled look inside the world of Anna Wintour and Vogue (US) was based on Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 novel and follows young “anti-fashion” college graduate, Andrea “Andy” Sachs, who becomes an assistant to Miranda Priestly, the editor of the fictitious Runway magazine in Manhattan.

Anne Hathaway played the role of Andy, Meryl Streep did the honours as Miranda, and Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci almost stole the show as Priestly’s first assistant and Art Director, respectively. Noteworthy: Tucci recently married Emily Blunt’s sister, Felicity Blunt. Adrian Grenier and Simon Baker also feature as Andy’s love interests.

The costumes were designed by Patricia Field of Sex and the City fame, and was the most expensively costumed movie in history, thanks to the use of top fashion house contributions.

Comments, impression and my points of view: 

For me personaly, this is one of the most inspiring movies  because it helped me see behind the curtain of the proccess of fashion editing . I got to know many of the designers, editors, what are the expectations for an assistent, model and what does it mean to be in the business. I was amazed by all fashionable clothes, shoesh and also requiremnts to become part of these world. 

2. "Закуска в Тифани" (1961) 

Сюжет: Холи Голайтли, млада, наивна, лекомислена и ексцентрична жена, която обича събиранията и се опитва да се впише в живота на богатото общество в Ню Йорк. Тя мечтае да се ожени за богат мъж и да има спокоен живот, както тя се изразява, като в бижутерийния магазин Тифани. Понякога тя закусва замечтана пред неговата витрина. В сградата, където тя живее се нанася млад писател, с който по стечение на обстоятелствата те завързват странно приятелство.

 Лично мнение, впечатление и коментар: В началото като видях, че филмът е стар, нямах намерение да го гледам, защото никога не съм била фен на старите филми, но нещо в името ме накара да го изтегля и поне да видя дали ще ми хареса. Мога да кажа, че бях приятно изненадана и заслужено има 3 номинации за Оскар. Видях Ню Йорк, който не гъмжи от хора, боклуци, коли, светлини, както е в новите филми. След като изгледах филма се замислих колко по-хубав е бил живота тогава, разбиранията на хората сдържани, възпитани, с норми, с по-добър стил за музика, облекло, храна, прически. Дрехите, стилни, изчистени, сепли, влюбих се. Толкова много ми се приска ми се бях родила един век по-рано, че започнах да обмислям дали има начин да се преродя назад във времето.  

2. "Breakfast at Tiffany's" (1961)

Synopsis: Holly Golightly (AUDREY HEPBURN) lives in a brownstone on Manhattan's swank East Side. Totally madcap, she has a partially furnished apartment, owns a cat with no name, gets rid of the "mean reds" by visiting Tiffany's jewelry store, and is forever misplacing her door key, much to the dismay of her upstairs neighbor Mr. Yunioshi (MICKEY ROONEY), a Japanese photographer. Holly makes her living in two ways: she receive $50 from her gentlemen escorts whenever she needs powder room money, and she is paid $100 for each weekly trip she makes to Sing Sing Prison, where she visits Sally Tomato (ALAN REED), an ex-mobster. One day Paul Varjak (GEORGE PEPPARD), a young writer who is supported by an older woman nicknamed "2E" (PATRICIA NEAL), comes into Holly's life. Following one of Holly's wild cocktail parties hosted by her Hollywood agent, O.J. Berman (MARTIN BALSAM), Paul unexpectedly meets Doc Golightly (BUDDY EBSEN), a gentle Texan whom Holly married when she was only 15 years old. Holly explains to Paul that the marriage was annulled long ago, and he helps her send the heartbroken Doc away. After a day on the town together, Paul realizes that he is in love with Holly and proposes to her; but she is determined to marry José (VILALLONGA), a South American millionaire. However, when it is publicly revealed that Holly has been innocently carrying narcotics ring information from Sally Tomato to his New York associates, the stuffy José abandons her. Furious at everything and everyone, Holly kicks Cat out of her taxicab into the rain and decides to leave town for Brazil, but Paul lectures her and then goes out to find Cat. Holly realizes how much she is giving up and races through the wet New York streets to a happy reunion with Paul and Cat.

Comments, impression and my points of view: At first when I saw which year the movie was shot I didn't want to see it, because I'm not a big fan of old movies, but after a while I saw something intriging in its name, so I decided to watch it. I was pretty amazed by it. First of all to see New York not so crowded, without all the lightning, tumulting .. and so on, as we are used to see it in movies. Also I liked a lot the way people were dressed, simply, classy and stylish. What is more, I enjoyed the way they were entertaining, how they danced, talked, all their maners. All I wanted to do after seeing it was to find a way to travel in time and go back to  60s. 

3. "Коко преди Шанел" (2009)- 

Сюжет: Момиче е изпратено със сестра си в сиропиталище в сърцето на Франция. То напразно чака всяка неделя баща му да дойде да го вземе. Кабаретна певица със слаб глас, която пее пред публика от пияни войници. Скромна шивачка, която прави подгъви в задната стая на провинциална шивачница.

Млада кльощава любовница, на която Етиен Балсан предлага безопасен живот сред упадъчни безделници. Влюбена жена, която знае, че няма да стане ничия съпруга дори на Бой Капел – мъжът, който отвръща на чувствата й. Бунтовница, която се чувства потисната нравите на своето време и се облича в дрехите на любовника си.

Това е историята на Габриел Шанел, която започва живота си като своенравно сираче и след изключително пътуване се превръща в легендарен дизайнер, който олицетворява съвременната жена и във вечен символ на успех, свобода и стил.

Лично мнение, впечатление и коментар: Този филм потвърди вече изградените ми представи, че винаги различните  хора са уникални и не бива да имаме предразсъдъци и да ги съдим по общоприетите норми и разбирания, а да ги подтикваме да запазят мисленето и характера си, защото те са носители на новото, това което ние все още не можем да разберем.

Смеейки се на различната, странната, мъжкараната, обществото им не разбира, че тя е една упорита, умна, работлива жена със стил и мярка. Точно това, че не се е предала, не се е отказала  да изразява себе си заради нападките на околните я прави икона в модата. 

3. "Coco before Chanel" (2009)
Synopsis: Before Chanel, Coco was a dirt-poor child abandoned at an orphanage: hardly original territory for a biopic. But if it hadn’t been for her tough early life – itinerant father, years in care, brief early career as a tavern singer – she might never have had the gumption to found an iconoclastic fashion house. Coco wasn’t always Chanel, but she was never ordinary. 

Anne Fontaine’s film has two interests: clothes and Audrey Tautou. The outfits are purposefully terrible: Coco’s early homemade monstrosities may have been original, but they didn’t have much else over the corseted excesses of the Edwardian era. But Tautou is wonderful – a black-eyed urchin so sullen and furious you forget how beautiful she is until she smiles. Not that she has a great deal to smile about, trapped in poverty and in Paris with no idea what to make of her life. 

Attempting to flee the restrictions she was born with, she turns up on a rich but boorish lover’s doorstep and starts cutting down men’s clothes. These are the keys to her personality, and director Anne Fontainehandles them with respect. It must have been tempting to make the clothes prettier and the lover, Belsan (Benoît Poelvoorde), more chivalrous, but that kind of compromise would hardly have been true to the spirit of a heroine who was never one for seeing anyone else’s viewpoint, much less accommodating it. Belsan treats her abominably, but he also introduces her to the high life and to handsome Arthur ‘Boy’ Capel (Alessandro Nivola): it’s hard to say which she takes to more. 

Fontaine’s film is gorgeous, but its beauty is practical, almost textile, like a Chanel tweed. It has its own excesses: if Boy had been the hero we see here, he’d have snorted at convention and married her. But, Chanel, an inveterate fantasist who fabricated her origins as assiduously as her suits, would have preferred this version. Only a late flashback, before the glamorous finale, is unworthy – Tautou, her heavy-browed little face a-glimmer with memory, simply doesn’t require its help.

Comments, impression and my points of view: 
This movie confirmed my teary that the strange, odd ones are the talented ones. Probably because they were born before the time when would feel comfortable or may be because they are the ones that will create, they change our future. All people that Coco was surrounded be didn't see her talent, different style, stubbornness, intelligence and creativity. 

4. "Септемврийски брой" (2009) - 

Сюжет: Ана Уинтур, легендарната главна редакторка на „Вог” от 20 години, е най-влиятелната и противоречива фигура в света на модата. Скрита зад прическата „боб” и слънчевите очила, които са нейната запазена марка, Ана не е позволявала на никого да рови зад кулисите на списанието й. Досега. Със своя безпрецедентен достъп, новият филм на Кътлър „Септемврийският брой” постига в модата онова, което филмът му The War Room направи в политиката – завежда ни в един свят, който само си мислим, че познаваме.

Всеки август рекорден брой читатели с нетърпение очакват септемврийския брой на „Вог”. Броят за 2007 г. е най-големият досега, тежащ близо 2 кг, с продадени 13 милиона копия, и по-мощно влияние върху 300-милиардната глобална индустрия на модата от всяко друго издание. Един задълбочен, смешен и изненадващ поглед върху Ана Уинтур и нейния самоотвержен екип от редактори, докато създават тази задължителна Библия на модата. Кътлър изследва недосегаемия блясък на „Вог”, за да разкрие истинската природа на тези изключително страстни хора.

Лично мнение, впечатление и коментар:За мен това ще си остане филмът, на който дължа всичко, което съм направила до момента свързано с модата, дори и да е малко и нищожно спрямо, това което искам да направя, това не е значение, защото този филм ми помогна да разбера каква искам да бъда и какво искам да постигна в живота. Поставям си за цел да стана моден редактор, точно като Ан Хатълуей, не ме срам от това, ясно го заявявам, ще дам всичко от себе си, за да стана част от модното общество и да превърна подписа си в автограф. 

4. "The September issue" -
Synopsis: 

Anna Wintour, the legendary editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine for twenty years, is the most powerful and polarizing figure in fashion. Hidden behind her trademark bob and sunglasses, she has never allowed anyone to scrutinize the inner workings of her magazine. Until now. With unprecedented access, filmmaker R.J. Comments, impression and my points of view:  
This is the movie I would always be thankful, all I have done still the moment is because I was inspired to become a fashion editor and I am not ashamed to say it. I am sure I am the right person for these job and I will show in future, until now I have done almost nothing for fashion but I will do everything so that my signature becomes an autograph. 

5. "Клоунско лице" (1957) 

Сюжет: Париж, градът на светлината, заискрява още по-ярко, когато Одри Хепбърн и Фред Астер играят заедно и озаряват със звездния си блясък изящния мюзикъл с песните на Джордж и Айра Гершуин. Този невероятен филм - сниман в Париж е номиниран за четири награди "Оскар".

Хепбърн е в ролята на продавачка в книжарница, която се превръща в модна сензация. Тя изпълнява някои от най-прекрасните песни на времето си “Откога датира тази наша любов”, “Първично привличане”. Астер е моден фотограф, който я открива за света. Заедно те пеят “Да се целунем и да се сдобрим”, “Той я обича и тя го обича”, “Обожавам те в клоунско лице”. Ще се насладите и на танците им, и на актьорската им игра.

Лично мнение, впечатление и коментар:Мюзикълът е номиниран за 4 награди Oскар, не се и учудвам. Идеята е добра, декорите, костюмите, сценария, гледките от Париж, песните. Аз лично не обичам много мюзикълите, но този ме грабна още от самото начало, с появата на редактора на списанието, момичетата около нея.. Няма как да не направим асоциация с "Дяволът носи Прада", но в един доста по-стар, но все пак интригуващ за времето вариант. 


5. "Funny Face" (1957)
Synopsis: This filmed version of the 1927 George Gershwin Broadway musical Funny Face utilizes the play's original star, Fred Astaire, and several of the original tunes, then goes merrily off on its own. Astaire is cast as as fashion photographer Dick Avery (a character based on Richard Avedon, the film's "visual consultant"), who is sent out by his female boss Maggie Prescott (Kay Thompson) to find a "new face". It doesn't take Dick long to discover Jo (Audrey Hepburn, who does her own singing), an owlish Greenwich Village bookstore clerk. Acting as Pygmalion to Jo's Galatea, Dick whisks the wide-eyed girl off to Paris and transforms her into the fashion world's hottest model. Along the way, he falls in love with Jo, and works overtime to wean her away from such phony-baloney intellectuals as Professor Emile Flostre (Michel Auclair). The Gershwin tunes include the title song, "S'wonderful", "How Long Has This Been Going On" and "He Loves and She Loves"; among the newer numbers is Kay Thompson's energetic opener "Think Pink". 

Comments, impression and my points of view:  Аll I did during the movie was stare and memorize every detail of the costumes and sets, shoots from Paris were perfect. After seeing the editor of the magazine, it reminded me of "Devil wears Prada" but a very stylish and old but gold version of it. 

Това са мойте Топ 5 в класацията "Най-добри модни филми", но няма как да не спомена и "Тайните на Беки Б.", "Сексът и Градът", "Господин Талантлив и Гн. Риплей" , "Бони и Клу", "Великият Гетстби" и разбира се  "Жената"(1939) . 

These are my Top 5 Best fashion movies, but there is no way not to mansion "The conffesions of shopacholic", "Sex and the city", "Mr.Talanted and Mr. Riplay", "Bonny and Clue", "Great Gatsby", and of course "The woman"(1939).
